INTRODUCING RYAN BISHOP
In this conversation, Ryan shares about his testimony, his family, his years in ministry, his philosophy of pastoral ministry, and what has drawn him to Emmaus in this next season. We also talk about some of his hopes for serving our church and how you can be praying for him and his family during this transition.
Our hope is that this interview helps put a voice and personality with the name, and that it gives you a clearer sense of Ryan’s heart for Christ, for the local church, and for the work of pastoral ministry.
As a reminder, Ryan will not come on staff as an elder on day one. That is not something the elders decide on their own. That is something you, the congregation, affirm. So we plan to nominate Ryan for eldership around his start date in June, which will give you the two months our policy calls for to get to know him, hear him preach and teach, and Lord willing, affirm him as an elder around August.
